Sjoerd van Ramshorst, a presenter for NOS, has emerged victorious in the VI Glazen Bol-cup, a prestigious competition among Dutch sports journalists. Van Ramshorst outperformed his peers by accurately predicting the final standings of the Eredivisie. He earned the least penalty points, totaling 30, compared to VI editor-in-chief Freek Jansen's 32. One of Van Ramshorst's key successes was his precise predictions for the league's mid-table, correctly placing SC Heerenveen and FC Groningen. Overall, he achieved six exact predictions. Notably, all sixteen journalists forecasted PSV as the league champions, but none anticipated Heracles Almelo finishing at the bottom. Wytse van der Goot predicted Heracles at eleventh, contributing to his last-place finish among the anchors.
